Retro cute meets sexy sleek - and I was OBSESSED.
Cassie + Ryan threw tradition out the window and created a day that felt completely, unapologetically them. High fashion collided with retro fun, bold pops of colour and playful little details - all against the dreamy backdrop of The Calile.
Cassie’s creative vision was next level. Three outfit changes, an incredible Darb Bridal tulle jacket, an elongated bow tying in with the powder-blue bridesmaid dresses, and the most fabulous red anthuriums dripping in silver pearls and black ribbon.
But amongst all the fashion were these incredibly thoughtful little details. Ryan’s late mum was beautifully woven into the day - her name embroidered onto Cassie’s bouquet ribbon and Ryan’s pocket square, while Cassie wore her earrings. Little touches with so much meaning behind them.
The weather had other ideas and sent the ceremony indoors, but absolutely nothing was raining on this parade.
The reception was a colourful visual feast - ribbons wrapped around vases, fruit and flowers colliding across the tables, warm light, big laughs and a room absolutely buzzing with energy.
Ryan and the lads brought the cool in classic black suits (and a whole lot of chaos), the speeches were brilliant, and once the party kicked off, it really kicked off.
Bold. Playful. Fashion-y. Sentimental. A little bit wild.
